The German company holds the Pinto Martins Airport concession and, according to the company’s chief executive, Andreea Pal, the priorities will be the expansion and improvements in the landing and takeoff runway and improvements in wi-fi, bathroom and lighting services.

The company is expected to take over the management of Pinto Martins in 2018 and has as main goal to double the number of passengers at the airport, preparing the structure with the expansion of the terminal, and to build eight boarding bridges, new access gates to the airport and improvements in the roadways.

According to the company’s representatives, a total of R$ 2 billion will be invested, a value that exceeds R$ 700 million of what was required by the Federal Government to assume the concession of the airport.
